The HURRICANE SCH25 is a compact diesel boiler suitable for boats up to 40 feet in length. The small footprint and modular design of the HURRICANE SCH25 make it very easy to install and maintain.
The HURRICANE SCH25 provides 25,000 True Output BTU, and can be or plumbed through the coil of a separate water heater or heat exchanger to produce continuous, on-demand, potable hot water. The HURRICANE SCH25 has a 1.8 U.S. gallon coolant tank made of marine-grade stainless steel, as well as a sturdy marine-grade stainless steel outer casing. It offers the ability to heat four distinct heating zones with individual thermostatic controls, and can extract engine waste heat with the use of a separate heat exchanger plumbed off the engine’s coolant lines. The HURRICANE SCH25 also offers an engine pre-heat option to prevent cold engine starts.
The HURRICANE SCH25 is compatible with the ITRTouch™ remote control interface, which allows for simple and enhanced operation, control, and diagnosis of the system.
HURRICANE heaters, the HURRICANE SCH25 included, feature burners that use a unique, patented diesel-fired, low-pressure system that produces a quiet, odorless, smoke-free flame. Low pressure burners are clean and efficient, and increase the length of time burners and associated parts can go without regular maintenance.
